Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Limbaugh, Hannity paid to promote FreedomWorks, AFP, Heritage (Koch, immigration)

Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity are paid large amounts of money to promote groups like FreedomWorks, Americans for Prosperity, and the Heritage Foundation. In some cases it might not be obvious to their listeners that those hosts are promoting those groups in part due to the money they receive ("Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck sell endorsements to conservative groups" by Kenneth Vogel and Lucy McCalmont of Politico, link).

* FreedomWorks sponsors Glenn Beck. See their name's link for more, and note that Freedom Works is headed by Dick Armey, a supporter of illegal immigration. They're one of the main tea parties stringpullers, and they've probably played a key role in keeping that group from highlighting immigration; see the last link for all the details. The exact amount they pay to Beck isn't known, but they paid $1.4 million last year to Rebecca Hagelin for "advertising services", part of which made its way to Beck. The Politico article includes this: Beck's listeners are "passionate and active" and have become known around FreedomWorks as the group's "shock troops," [spokesman Adam Brandon] said. Recall also that Beck urged his listeners to donate to the illegal immigration-supporting U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

* Americans for Prosperity pays an unknown amount to sponsor Levin, and they're one of the key groups in the "Kochtopus", those groups funded by or linked to the Koch family. The Kochs also fund groups that advocate for loose or even open borders, including Reason Magazine, Cato Institute, and the Institute for Humane Studies. And, in an ironic twist, David Koch joined with George Soros to give the ACLU millions of dollars. AFP is also another main teaparty stringpuller.

* The Heritage Foundation sponsors both Limbaugh ($2 million) and Hannity ($1.3 million),

If you listen to Beck, Levin, Limbaugh, or Hannity, see the links above and then listen closer. Those who listen to Beck are especially urged to call in and ask him about Dick Armey, and those who listen to Levin are especially urged to call in and discuss the Kochs with him.
