October 7 Atlanta march

COVID-19 Response

Like everyone else, we urge you to wash your hands and engage in social distancing.

Unlike everyone else, we urge you to also help with this smart plan to get more tests, ventilators, and PPE. Everyone can do that plan right now, at home, in just 15 minutes.

If enough people help with the plan we can save lives. Take time out now and help get more desperately-needed supplies.

Was originally to be the September 30 Atlanta march but was rescheduled.

One of the organizers is Teodoro Maus, a former Mexican consul general.

In addition to a former Mexican official, Democrats from the U.S. were also deeply involved. From Latinos call for legalization: State Sen. Sam Zamarripa (D-Atlanta), state Rep. Pedro Marin (D-Duluth), [[Tisha Tallman]], regional counsel for the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Jerry Gonzalez of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials walked arm-in-arm at the head of the march.
