NB: I caviled some time recently about the use of "humidor" in a non-cigar context. I forget the details, but I've since learned the #Rockies have a "humidor" to store baseballs so they're similar to the baseballs at low-elevation.

After about the 10th time #Firefox updated itself despite being told not to, I moved "updater" to "updater.FU" & set perms on the "updates" dir to 400 (create the dir if it doesn't exist). This is on Linux but others are probably similar. We'll see if that stops #Mozilla sleaze.
The latest versions of #Firefox enter what I tend to call a "shame spiral" (thank you, Stuart Smalley). It becomes unresponsive & uses *0* CPU. Then, a minute later up comes the "Firefox crashed [again]" dialog.
Yet more pure, intense incompetence from #Mozilla.
