The skewed priorities of Noel Sheppard (Newsbusters, declining labor force)

In the unlikely event that Matt Drudge linked to a post here, rest assured that I'd take advantage of those tens to hundreds of thousands of visitors to promote pro-American immigration policies.

Noel Sheppard of NewsBusters has different priorities.

On the Drudge-linked "8.5 Million Americans Left Labor Force In Obama's First Term" ( peekURL.com/zywy9St ), Sheppard says:

...there are currently 8.5 million more Americans not in the labor force than just four years ago.

Forget all the other numbers.

This continued explosion of people not in the labor force should be tremendously concerning as it represents an obstacle for the government to ever balance the budget without drastically raising taxes on those still working.

And, that's it.

Compare that to my priorities:

I'd point out that even as Americans are leaving the labor force, the Obama administration has continued to give out hundreds of thousands of work permits.

I'd point out that Obama's DACA amnesty might give out hundreds of thousands more work permits to people who shouldn't even be here in the first place.

And, I'd point out that plans are under way to legalize millions of illegal aliens via a massive amnesty.

I'd suggest the patriotic response: reducing the numbers of foreign citizens given work permits in order to reduce the number of Americans who leave the workforce.

Obviously, fiscal conservatives have different priorities than helping their fellow citizens get jobs, even if they were very, very silent in the last decade.
