Joe the Plumber sues over records search (Helen Jones-Kelley)

One of the arguments some people use when I promote my question authority campaign is "look what happened to Joe the Plumber!" Yes, indeed. He's already published two books, gotten a gig with Pajamas Media, and become somewhat of a household name. And, if that's not enough, he's probably going to collect a reasonable settlement from people who appear to have taken actions against him and who've since been fired or resigned (link):
"Joe the Plumber" sued three former state officials Thursday, accusing them of violating his privacy and free speech rights when they searched state computers for information about him.The three defendents are Helen Jones Kelley, Fred Williams, and Doug Thompson.
Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, who became a celebrity as “Joe the Plumber” during the presidential campaign, claims the three officials at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services targeted him after he made critical comments about then-candidate Barack Obama.
Wurzelbacher said the officials’ actions caused him emotional distress and personal humiliation.

About time someone made them accountable for their acts. Go get 'em, Joe!
