.@Buccigross: instead of endless basketball/spikeball/cornhole, #ESPN should counterprogram foreign soccer against NFL. S. Am is timezone friendly, AU is close. No need for announcers or have them do it from CT. ESPN would make more $ & provide a real alternative for millions

.@Buccigross: tennis hilites are great. Say, have you noticed that Fox - except for a hiccup on Friday & at the start - has put all the key #WorldCup matches on network? Disney wouldn't interrupt All My Children reruns. #ESPN got outbid for 2.5% of their rights budget.

.@Buccigross: do you think #ESPN ratings might be due to bad decisions by their suits? Eg, cornhole, spikeball, CFL, etc. etc. rather than outbidding Murdoch for the most popular sporting event in the entire world? Jimmy Wichard might do a better job than ESPN suits.

.@Buccigross: #ESPN is like some sort of weird, backwoods Top40 station. You show cornhole & spikeball, but can't outbid an AU Dreckmeister for the biggest events in the world's biggest sport. (I don't mind cornhole/spikeball/WCWS/etc. I just want ESPN to show more soccer).

.@Buccigross: #ESPN has four NBA games on #Christmas. On ESPN they get less than 2 million viewers per game. In a bag of mixed nuts, Ball In Hoop is like the peanuts. #soccer is like the cashews, except these ESPN bags don't have any cashews.

.@Buccigross: millions are sick of #kneeball. When #ESPN isn't showing it, why can't they counterprogram foreign offbrand tape-delayed local feed #soccer, an "NIT #WorldCup", #PuertoRico baseball, etc. etc. You used to show go-kart racing, you can play real games against NFL.
