Shailagh Murray

Shailagh Murray is a former Washington Post and Wall Street Journal reporter who became Joe Biden's deputy chief of staff and communications director and then in March 2015 was named a senior advisor to Barack Obama [1]. As of Spring 2017 she was a Resident Fellow with the University of Chicago [2].

As can be seen below, she might as well have been working for the Obama administration when she was nominally a reporter for the WaPo.
