Has Dennis Hastert blocked the Senate's massive illegal alien amnesty?

He wants to take a "long look" at the Senate's sell-out, which might mean nothing will happen before Congress goes on its summer vacation.

"it has allowed some time for the bill to be analyzed (many senators who voted for it had no doubt not even read it, let alone analyzed it)." eh
No doubt, indeed. At one point in the voting on S 2611, Feinstein (CA) had to ask "Did we just raise or lower the H-1B visa level?" Not too shocking - she's not the deepest member of the upper house; but apparently it took a while for her to get an answer, meaning that a lot of others who'd just voted on this measure didn't know either. Not good, folks.

Pushing to get it passed before the Memorial Day recess was apparently a mistake by the Senate, since it has allowed some time for the bill to be analyzed (many senators who voted for it had no doubt not even read it, let alone analyzed it). The idiots.
Probably the Bilbray result has worked like a cold shower as well.
