Dr. Chiyome Fukino responds to my Obama birth certificate questions, "takes the Fifth"
Posted Wed, Dec 10, 2008 at 11:54 pm
On October 31, 2008, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii Department of Health, released a statement verifying that Barack Obama's birth certificate was on file in their records. However, despite what you might have heard, she did not verify that he was born in Hawaii. And, she did not verify that the certificate on file in Hawaii matches the "COLB" pictured on Obama's site and at FactCheck.
That hasn't stopped many people from assuming that she verified something she did not. See the obama citizenship summary for all the details.
I recently sent some questions to Dr. Fukino's office, and in her reply she basically "takes the Fifth". The questions and their reply are below. More on this tomorrow...
Here are the questions I sent them:

I recently sent some questions to Dr. Fukino's office, and in her reply she basically "takes the Fifth". The questions and their reply are below. More on this tomorrow...
Here are the questions I sent them:
1. Did that statement (or any other official statement from the state government) confirm that Obama was born in Hawaii , as some have assumed? And, here's the non-reply reply:
2. Did that statement (or any other official statement from the state government) confirm that the certificate you have on file matches the one on Obama's website?
3. Is it illegal under Hawaii state law to confirm where Obama was born, or to confirm that the certificate you have on file matches the one on Obama's website?
Dr. Fukino has said that her statement stands on its own, and she does not feel there is any need for further comment.
Hawaii State law protects the birth records of all individuals born in our state under all circumstances. State law prohibits the Department of Health from disclosing any information about a Hawaii vital record unless the requestor has a direct and tangible interest in the record. This includes verification of vital records and all the information contained in a record. Direct and tangible interest is determined by HRS §338-18(b). http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol06_Ch0321-0344/HRS0338/HRS_0338-0018.htm
For information on the law that governs vital records in the State of Hawaii , please refer to HRS §338 at http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/
Information on obtaining certified copies of vital records is available on the Hawaii DOH website at www.hawaii.gov/health

"...unless the requestor has a direct and tangible interest in the record." So Americans have no tangible interest in the record. Typical worthless government fatass.

Fred, each of your posts is repetitive nonsensical and uneducated drivel unrelated to what is being posted here. I am begging you to either address the content of the post or keep your rants to your myspace page. I am tired of reading the same thing over and over again for the past 5 years. Have some mercy upon the readers of this blog, please. Give it a rest, please. Nothing you say has anything to do with what is being posted here, so spare us your rants. Go buy a bullhorn and stand on the corner or start your own blog, PLEASE.

Love the faith of the folks that believe "certifications" are the same thing as "certificates." These folks have obviously done little to no investigation. Yep, some people are so gullable! Example: For my car, I have a "registration of title" from the state, so I must own the car clear and clean right? It's an official, non-fake document from the state. I'll be glad to sell any one my "registration of title" for the price of the car. (Of course, I'll still own the title itself, but, hey! these all official state documents, right? The documents all mean the same thing, right? I'm sure the judge be understanding at the car theft trial ... :-) The same folks would probably be interested in my prime Florda real estate, or perhaps some part of my fine New York bridge investments....

Barack Obama's relatives, such as his illegal-alien aunt Zeituni Onyango in Boston and his impoverished half-brother in Kenya, DO have standing under the laws of the State of Hawai'i to gain access to the original birth certificate. Considering the money that's been spent so far in fruitless lawsuits, couldn't someone take the time and effort to have one of his relatives fill out the paperwork and settle this issue?

You know, maybe they can't tell you because it's against the law. Have you considered that? "State law prohibits the Department of Health from disclosing any information about a Hawaii vital record unless the requestor has a direct and tangible interest in the record. " While you may have the belief that your debate is tangible and direct, the US government probably had to do quite a lot to recieve the information. Not just write a website about how they don't believe a word anything Obama or his supporters have spoken, written, or communicated in any way shape or form. While I didn't really support Obama in his campaign, I was 6 days too young to vote for anyone, anyway. I'm not an avid [or even anything close to that type of] supporter of our government, I do retain the ability to believe that many of the people who oppose my viewpoints do not lie constantly.

Do you know what it means to "take the Fifth"? It means to invoke your right against self-incrimination in a legal setting. The doctor said that she stood by her previous comment to you. She did NOT say, "I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me." And she did not "do the equivalent" of taking the Fifth. She said that she had nothing additional to say to you. That is a different thing. Your language is inflammatory and prejudicial. The doctor would have grounds to sue you for libel.

Can you even get them to confirm or deny that a Certification with the reg. number on the web form was ever printed out for Obama? I suspect even that Certification is a complete fabrication.

Actually, petty bourgeois, Fred's statements do relate to the post. It is about the elidibility of Barak Obama tp be the President of the US. He states a takeover of the US. That is what is happening. Or, are you to blind to see?

Oops, I forgot. The registraton # was blacked out. As far as I can discover, no request was ever submitted to print a Certification for Obama, and Hawaii didn't issue one. So the web form is a pastiche of others' forms, or SLT.

It's not "taking the fifth". It's "observing the law". Jeeezus! Hasn't anyone heard of HIPPA? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HIPPA I can't even talk to my elderly mother's nurse in the hospital without a form!
