The San Diego Union-Tribune and the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin both have editorials opposing SB60, Gil Cedillo's bill (now supported by Governor Gumby Davis) to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens:
"Easing license rules a wrong move for state"
"Unlicensed aliens: A desperate governor makes rash promises"

Hmmm. The LA Times had an editorial opposing SB60 today as well.

It's flawed in certain parts, however. I fail to see how allowing illegal aliens driver licenses makes voter fraud easier, considering I've never shown ID when voting, and putting a "Non-citizen" notice on the card is probably what they do already for green carded immigrants. I also wonder about the claim that integrated illegal immigrants can not be deported. Do you know anything about this?
