This is why I prefer Windows

Have you ever gone to the MacWorld convention, and taken one of their free "personality tests?" OK, I'm exagerating, but Mac and Linux folk are a wee bit too cult-like for my tastes. Plus, doing just about any Mac development causes one to be stigmatized as a Mac developer, and we know how much those people make.

But, hey, if you want to join the creative classes and hear the sermon from the mounted hard drive, be my guest.

I'm currently struggling with this brain teaser. Please don't tell me the answer.

I think I got both these links from here.

I wasn't referring to Mac graphic designers or others who use the Mac to make graphics, multimedia, video, etc. etc.

I was referring to Mac programmers. While I don't know how much people who do Mac development make on average, the fact is that there is much less Mac development work available than Windows and Unix. And, many (idiots) who see that you have done any Mac development are more than willing to pigeon-hole you as a Mac developer. Even if you've done 90% non-Mac development, the 10% is like a shining beacon to those idiots. That's my personal experience, Your Mileage May Vary.

You blogged, "and we know how much these people make" (apparently referring to Mac Developers). But I don't know how much these people make. If they make a lot is that good? If they make a little, what does that mean? And who are "we"? Your readers, I suppose. I don't understand the relevance of this remark. This comment is intended to supplant my previous comment. How much do mac designer's make? What is the meaning of this comment? A friend.

I have a high-end PC (WinXP) and a high-end Mac (OSX)on a home LAN ... I use them for different things but prefer the Mac for the same reason that whilst I wear both Marks and Spencer clothes and Armani clothes, I do prefer the Armani stuff.
