DHS cover up of WMD smuggled into U.S.? San Diego port CBP official interview - 02/14/11
The video below shows an interview in which a Border Patrol official seems to admit that some form of "mass effect" device, aka WMD, was caught being smuggled into the U.S. In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security denies that such an incident ever happened.
Obviously, there are a lot of possibilities here. The DHS could be lying (which wouldn't be surprising). The DHS official could be following orders to try to scare people (see Were terror alerts faked to elect Bush?) If you're on the fringe, maybe the DHS could be planning a false flag operation designed to crack down on civil...
Suicide bomber book found at border; extremist cleric caught sneaking into U.S. - 01/27/11
Two recent but unrelated stories about immigration terrorism:
1. From William La Jeunesse of Fox News (link):
A book celebrating suicide bombers has been found in the Arizona desert just north of the U.S.- Mexican border, authorities tell Fox News.
The book, "In Memory of Our Martyrs," was spotted Tuesday by a U.S. Border Patrol agent out of the Casa Grande substation who was patrolling a route known for smuggling illegal immigrants and drugs.
Published in Iran, it consists of short biographies of Islamic suicide bombers and other Islamic militants who died carrying out attacks.
2. From this...
Martha Mendoza of AP misleads over crime on U.S.-Mexico border - 06/03/10
The latest establishment attempt to support illegal immigration and undercut those who want stronger border enforcement comes from Martha Mendoza of the Associated Press. The original AP title is "AP Impact: US-Mexico border isn't so dangerous" [1] and it's based on statistics contained in a new FBI report [2] and on data they received via a FOIA request from Customs and Border Protection (CBP):
It's one of the safest parts of America, and it's getting safer.
It's the U.S.-Mexico border, and even as politicians say more federal troops are needed to fight rising violence, government data...
March 10 Committee - 10/30/07
Also known as the March 10 Movement, March 10 Coalition, Diez de Marzo Committee.
Home page at movimiento10demarzo.org
At their site, they declare their unconditional support for Elvira Arellano as well as all other "immigrants" who are in the process of being deported. They also call on all those immigrants who are being deported to apply for asylum and to seek asylum in local churches.
They also oppose employer sanctions and programs to check the SSNs of employees.
Richard Marosi/Ari Bloomekatz/LAT enable illegal immigration (San Diego fires) - 10/28/07
As a cost-saving move, let me suggest that the Los Angeles Times outsources their coverage to the Western Growers Association, the Mexican government, or the Democratic Party. That way, "reporters" Richard Marosi and Ari Bloomekatz can achieve their true calling of selling used tires, and there'd be little difference between the outsourced version and that which they provide in "Evacuations raise deportation fears" about illegal aliens and the San Diego wild fires (link).
In fact, their article is remarkably similar to the other instances of this new subgenre, such as that from Leslie...
ACLU, Leslie Berestein, Amy Isackson defending looters because they're illegal aliens - 10/26/07
On Wednesday, an alleged group of looters were arrested at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego; it was claimed that they were collecting supplies meant for the victims of the recent wild fires in order to resell them. Apparently one or more admitted they were stealing, and one person said it was for resale. Some were illegal aliens; when that was suspected the San Diego Police called the Border Patrol who then deported a few of them. A few others have been released.
The exact details, and everyone who was involved, isn't clear at this time (and probably never will be). However, one thing is crystal...
Illegal aliens steal evacuee supplies; NPR's Amy Isackson promotes serf labor - 10/25/07
Six illegal aliens were allegedly caught stealing supplies in San Diege meant for wild fire evacuees. They brought trucks and came back for more, and one of their group said they were paid to do so. While there might be a somewhat understandable explanation, such as they were taking them to an ad hoc shelter somewhere else, I suspect that if there were such an explanation we would have heard it. If there isn't such an explanation, it shouldn't be surprising that some of those who've shown no respect for our immigration laws would show no respect for fire victims.
Meanwhile, Amy Isackson of...

The page from Service Employees International Union local 2028 (San Diego) at seiu2028.org/action/issues/mco.cfm has a link entitled "San Diego We Are America/Somos America Alliance", which leads to the (now 404) page cccaction.org/cccaction/waa_index.html, which is similar to the page hosting the We Are America Alliance. May Day pictures; mini-riot in Vista - 05/02/06
There are pictures of the illegal immigration march in Sacramento here, with photos from various other marches here. Here are some videos from Escondido. Don't be fooled: we'll still have Taco Bell.
And, there was a mini-riot in Vista near San Diego.
