Per this, the group OneAmerica Votes is conducting a Get Out The Vote effort for Democrats in Washington state, and some of those doing the canvassing are illegal aliens. They're concentrating on 40,000 naturalized citizens in Seattle, and:

Pramila Jayapal, head of OneAmerica Votes, says the campaign is about empowering immigrants who may not feel like they can contribute to a campaign because they can't vote... "Immigrants really do matter," Jayapal said. "If we can't vote ourselves, we're gonna knock on doors, or get family members to vote."

The article highlights one illegal alien canvasser who overstayed a visa she obtained 13 years ago. She's quoted using the system is broken canard ("In order for there to be a change to our broken immigration system, I believe one has to fight"). As discussed at the link, it's not our written laws that are broken, just that they aren't enforced as much as they could be. If they had been, we wouldn't have illegal aliens canvassing for the Democrats.
