NPR described Obama as "Kenyan-born", then later posts correction
The blurb for the October 9, 2008 NPR story "Trial and Triumph: Stories Out Of Africa" (introduced by Michel Martin, npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=95550177) included the following (bolding added): "[West African correspondent Ofeibea Quist-Arcton] describes the stories that have been exciting, including the U.S. presidential race of Kenyan-born Sen. Barack Obama."
Just recently, they've prepended a correction (screengrab of the original page here): "An earlier summary of this story that appeared online incorrectly identified the birthplace of Barack Obama. The audio correctly states that Obama's father was born in Kenya."
The fact that NPR would say he was born in Kenya isn't proof or even credible evidence, since NPR isn't that credible to begin with. Rather, this is just an example - like Tom Parsons talking in his sleep - of how difficult it is for even the best among us to rightthink about the Obama citizenship issue.
