PJTV whines about taxes for Beverly Hills business as millions unemployed
Normally I'd prefer people to shun the Pajamas Media mini-empire, but I actually urge everyone to share this video: link. Not because it's good, but for the opposite reason: it makes them and those in the general tea parties movement look very bad.
With millions of Americans unemployed (a good portion of them long-term), with U.S.'s manufacturing base eroding by the day, with China flooding the U.S. with cheap imports, with Wall Street appropriating billions from the U.S., and all our other problems, Pajamas Media wants you to cry over the taxes paid by the Executive Director of the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
It's not quite at the level of Marie Antoinette, but it's getting there. Now, of course, the Beverly Hills Playhouse employs people, as do all the other small businesses in the U.S. And, we don't want to see Obama's bolsheviks appropriate their property and put it under the control of soviets.
But at the same time it might be helpful for Pajamas Media to understand that there are people in far worse shape than those who run the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Not to mention the fact that the very rich people who live in that city have complete control over who's on their City Council, and if they don't like city fees they can do something about it. And, not to mention the fact that without taxes in general Beverly Hills would have experienced land reform by now.
There's no sense of counting their blessings nor of noblesse oblige. So, please send the link above around, whether to grassroots tea parties supporters or others.
