When I first read this lady's screed, I laughed aloud, thinking it was parody. I mean, no one could actually be that idiotic as to seriously write such an article. Then I realized it was an article seriously written and I stopped laughing. It's nearly too much to bear to accept that some people grow up, stick themselves into academia as this writer has done, and then act out as insanely as this. By this writer's reasoning, then, we should all start dismissing everyone and anyone from Chicago because of "bad air."
