Mike Pence lied about Donald Trump's "Mexicans" comment

COVID-19 Response

Like everyone else, we urge you to wash your hands and engage in social distancing.

Unlike everyone else, we urge you to also help with this smart plan to get more tests, ventilators, and PPE. Everyone can do that plan right now, at home, in just 15 minutes.

If enough people help with the plan we can save lives. Take time out now and help get more desperately-needed supplies.

At tonight's VP debate, Donald Trump's VP Mike Pence lied about Trump's "Mexican" comments that kicked off his campaign.

Trump kicked off his campaign by saying among other things "and some, I assume, are good people". That implies that the rest aren't. Since "some" is the opposite of "most", Trump was saying that most Mexican illegal aliens aren't "good people".

At tonight's VP debate, Pence claimed that Trump said "many are good people". That's not what Trump said: he only said "some".

Pence is taking after Trump's habit of lying.
