Should the feds take over Maywood California?

Maywood is a tiny (1.14 square miles) city in southeast L.A. County with at least 30,000 residents, many of them illegal aliens. I've refered to it as "Aztlan City" because they recently came out against HR4437, they've declared themselves a sanctuary for illegal aliens, and the other actions they've taken that support illegal immigration.
Now, the L.A. Times has yet another article on their efforts: "Welcome to Maywood, Where Roads Open Up for Immigrants".
Oddly enough, they give some time to the dissenters:
If this is allowed to spread, won't it set a very dangerous precedent? Wouldn't we be allowing mini-Quebecs to sprout inside Los Angeles County? What if neighboring cities with similar viewpoints banded together? Where would it stop?
It's long past time for the feds or the state to begin investigating whether these cities' officials have violated one law or another.
While they might be afraid to step in because of the feared political backlash from Mexican-"Americans" like those in the California legislature, isn't that indicative of an even greater problem? Isn't it better to step in now before it's too late to do anything?

Oddly enough, they give some time to the dissenters:
Even within the city, the stance is controversial. Longtime residents believe the City Council has gone too far and is embracing lawlessness. They also question whether Maywood can handle more illegal immigrants. Now, there's talk of Maywood's stance spreading to other cities with - naturally - Hispanic leaders and large illegal aliens populations.
"I'm afraid we're testing the limits of the law, and that's dangerous," said longtime resident J. Luis Ceballos, 52. "I think there is a danger of people thinking that they can do whatever they want."

I have been to Mexico many times and could never get away with what so many illegal immigrants are getting away with here. Since when can a foreigner go into another country and disrespect the country, the flag (by dragging it or wearing it around their waists) and then demand the rights of a citizen. They have human rights but the rights they want are granted to residents and citizens. My father came here and did not break the law. He had less than many coming today. He waited and died a citizen of this wonderful (not perfect) country. He taught me to respect the laws of this land and to use the law to better life for all. This lesson seems lost today with these misdirected marches. I have been to three of these marches and have seen many socialistic, communists, America-bashers and known rabble mixing in with the marches. Sadly, amongst the throng are 1-2% who are Mexican criminals. I am a lifelong activist for Mexican youth but am not in support of a carte blanche amnesty without background checks. America will welcome hard-working people but there must be order and respect. Maywood should be ashamed of itself for advocating law-breaking.

A lot of Veterans use to get those jobs with the post office.
They use to get Veterans preference on the civil service test that was required for employment.
How come none of them are protesting the Mexican flag flying over their place of employment?
You would think they would really be mad as hell about this.

Maywood and any other jurisdiction allowed to do as they are doing will only pave the way for the end of United States occupation of the former Confederate States and many of the Indian Nations. If illegal immigrants can have the power they are being bestowed in Maywood, then some other groups have an equal right to secede. Ten years ago such talk would be absurd, but the greed of President Bush-the whore of Mexican President Fox has allowed this situation to escalate. Bush, along with the degenerate Clinton have helped to make America less American. The other poster had it right-take away all the funding for these outlaw jurisdictions and let them fund themselves or occupy them. I think we know what will be done, nothing-wake up America-Bush has sold you out, Clinton sold you out. Congress will do nothing-but in the end sell you out as well.

Something should be done about Maywood. Those people down there are breaking the law and they have encouraged others to break the law. It is the federal governments job to take care of that problem. God only knows how many illegal aliens are in Maywood.
I live in a California town of about 50,000. If I suddenly stopped paying income taxes and then convinced 10 other people to do the same, the federal government would send a tomahawk missle through my front door and blow my law breaking ass to smithereens!

The Feds are the enemy of the US majority, so a federal takeover would be pointless. If you run into Teddy Kennedy, JohnMcCain or Harry Reid make sure you call them nasty names in a loud voice.I promise I will if given the chance. I would include GWB,but even of you were able to get close you would probably be quickly dragged off, beaten to a pulp and later indicted on federal charges.

Should the feds take over Maywood? No
No but we should make them pay their own way, I imagine if their subsidies were limited by their own tax revenues you'd see change overnite.

Speaking as a federal taxpayer...No.
Anyway, what good would that do? In reality the federal governent is little better.

Secessionist jurisdictions should be occupied and their officials charged with treason or ,at least, being unregistered foreign agents.
