H.R. 645: "National emergency centers" at military bases (FEMA, Alcee Hastings)

Rep. Alcee Hastings has introduced H.R. 645, the "National Emergency Centers Establishment Act". It would establish at least six of those centers in each of the FEMA regions throughout the U.S., prefering closed military bases if possible. The supposed purpose appears to be in case of a Katrina-style situtation or a terrorist attack. Another purpose might be as detention centers for illegal aliens. And, another might be as detention centers for rioting U.S. citizens unhappy with the representation they've been getting. While the latter possibility is reduced somewhat by the sponsor, the language is quite broad. Here are the purposes:

(1) to provide temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster;

(2) to provide centralized locations for the purposes of training and ensuring the coordination of Federal, State, and local first responders;

(3) to provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations; and

(4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Paul Joseph Watson oversells this (link); "ppl can fly" and his friends at DailyKos actually make some slight sense for a change, although they aren't alarmed enough and instead concentrate on making sure that the pillows will be fluffed at the centers (dailykos.com/story/2009/1/28/4037/79980).

HR.645 Is really the mass camp bill, not for our Enemies but for any who have opened eyes, the evil language is broad for a real reason and like hitlers camps it can also be used as a death camp for any Americans who get out of line. Soon people like me and millions of others will understand what total Tyrant is, the illegal people of total evil will be replacing the so called citizens like you for one reason control. The Real enemy is our government and its troops are the people of the world. Understand what it is.

Call it what it is, Fema camps built by Halliburton, our freinds who, with Cheney built the oil structures and recinstruction of Iraq, have already built hundreds of camps accross America. The Govt WOULD NOT build hundreds of camps, costing billions of dollars for "unknown circumstances" would you? Germany did exactly the same thing, willingly with the peoples approval, until dissenting Germans were shoved in there and shot. Same to with Americans, as like Germans lost the rights to their guns to protect themselves. Obama LIED about the guns, and bills are being passed right now to take them off you shortly. Wake up fools.

thank you rob but most will call for gun removal and ask obama to put Americans in camp soon. its going to be up to the young to fight against evil and that will never happen in a million years but if we as a nation of law! must die let some of us die with guns in hand fighting the new SS WHICH WILL BE MADE UP OF COPS AND GANGS LIKE THE OLD ONE WAS.
