Time Magazine poll: Large Majority Favors "Guest Workers"

If a new Time Magazine poll is to believed, around 72 percent of Americans favor a "guest" worker scheme of some kind.

Of course, the "is to believed" part is our taking-off-point to mention that the poll question only gave two choices:

1. Allow Illegal Immigrants To Get Temporary Work Visas

2. Make Illegal Immigration a Crime And Not Allow Anyone Who Entered The Country Illegaly to Work or Stay In the U.S.

Obviously, there are other choices, aren't there?

And, in a similar fashion to a previous Field Poll that also - miraculously! - came to the same false conclusion as the Time poll, the question about "temporary" workers is basically a lie.

First, under all of the current amnesty/"guest" worker plans, they'd be here for from between 3 (or is it 2?) and 6 years.

Since when is six years "temporary"? It's not permanent, but it's sure a long time.

And, as pointed out many times before, those "guests" would have U.S. citizen children. In other words, they aren't going home.

So, anyone - and that includes Time Magazine and their polling firm Schulman, Ronca, & Bucuvalas - who claims that our "guest" workers would be here temporarily is simply lying to you.

Why do we have to wait until the shoe falls. Why do we wait to be told that we are no longer supposed to protect what our four fathers fought so hard for? Why are we just watching our country go to hell? We need to get this country back. Some one needs a battle cry so we can march and protest...

who is the times only by, check it out.
the rats in washingtion are doing the old propaganda dance and promoting pro-illegal attacks on this nation. the main operational line now will to call for a big heart and ask for understand of this outrage, tolerance is a joke when you talk about that evil non nation mexico and its drug dealer government, but also remember for many years now the drug dealers have been putting money in banks for our boys in washington, if you get what i mean.

I took a look at what the polling firm made public. It raised a few glaring questions right off the bat. What the firm did not offer was a full shot at any analysis of their cross-tabs. That would have been interesting, and likely too revealing for the pollsters. My analysis is here:

What a bogus poll and disgusting too. They purposely worded it that way to get the poll skewered in the direction that they wanted. Of course the people at Time, like most other media I presume is for open borders and unlimited legal and illegal immigration. As in, let them all in, the more the merrier.
