"Becky": poster girl for unwitting supporters of Obamacare (townhall ranter)
The attached video features someone who, not knowing her real name, I'll call "Becky". Becky is helping push Obama healthcare, even if she thinks she's doing the opposite. She's not alone: all those I've seen so far who think they're opposing Obamacare are in effect either helping promote it or aren't doing as good a job to oppose it as they could.
The video description is: "Cass County Campaign for Liberty member schools Senator Dorgan at his townhall meeting in Casselton, ND". From that, I was expecting some form of a heated debate with the senator. Instead, he's only shown at the end, and whatever he says after her two minute plus rant is cut off. (He probably started with, "I understand your concerns" and then went into his stock speech.) All we see is Becky giving a speech about personal responsibility and the like.
That's great, but the only way anything she said is going to change what Dorgan does is if he assumes that most people in his state think like her. Other than that, she's powerless. If Dorgan figures he can win re-election by appealing to those who disagree with her, and there are more of the latter, then Becky is out of luck. Becky did get a thumbs up at the end and she seems quite proud of herself. But, perhaps she could put any interest in her fifteen minutes aside and concentrate instead on achieving the goals that she supposedly has.
That would involve finding someone (such as a local trial lawyer) who could actually "school" Dorgan (or another national politician) by engaging him in an impromptu debate designed to show how he's wrong, how he's being misleading, how he's not thinking ahead, and so on. Video of a regular citizen actually "schooling" a national politician over an issue would be extremely powerful and send a very powerful message. It would very clearly show that the MSM isn't doing their job, and it would also encourage politicians to "behave". Many politicians would realize that if they offered flawed or deceptive plans, their constituents would call them on it to their face and that would have an impact on their political careers.
Politicians are used to and aren't really concerned about people like Becky: they'll let them say their piece and then move on. However, they are concerned about being shown to be liars or to be unable to think ahead. And, they aren't used to being "cross-examined" about their plans. In other words, people like Becky are playing right into their hands, and those like Becky need to realize that fact, put their vanity aside, and concentrate on achieving their goals even if they're in the background.
See the question authority page for a plan and see this for a question you can ask.
And, nothing in this post is going to have an impact unless you the reader spend just a few minutes searching for a random tea party-style group or similar and sending this link to them in the hopes that they'll do something that's actually effective.

Don't feed the troll. He lives under a bridge with his blind faith to the Stalinistic messiah.
