What Brad DeLong doesn't want you to see (+he does it again)

Yesterday, Brad DeLong offered "Buce on the Birthers" [1], which is just a clip post consisting entirely of a portion of someone else's post about the Obama citizenship issue together with a supposed picture of Barack Obama's COLB. I left the two comments below; as predicted, they were deleted. A comment replying to my comment remains, but both mine are gone. Obviously DeLong is a bit sensitive about this issue.

UPDATE: I left another comment on [2], and it was deleted as I predicted. That comment is below the other ones. The rest of the comments on [2] are simply jabs at the GOP and cutesy little jokes; obviously, DeLong isn't interested in having a debate about this issue but simply wants an echo chamber.

FIRST COMMENT (left on [1]):
Maybe (perhaps before DeLong deletes this comment) someone else can explain to me why BHO supporters keep having to lie, mislead, and tie themselves into knots in order to try to prove something that's supposedly so cut-and-dried. There's a collection of some of those lies and misleading statements here (summary first, then the links to individual posts):

https://24ahead.com/s/obama-citizenship

Since this is a higher-grade site, I'm going to assume that anyone who replies will have read that page and tried their best to understand my argument and will have looked at one or two of those lies. For instance, the recent CNN lie. She claimed that HI's governor had verified that BHO was born there, yet HI's governor has made no such statement.

Isn't it worrisome that reporters would make a series of false and misleading statements and no one would call them on it for fear of being called a dreaded name?

SECOND COMMENT (left on [1]):
Good job by freeto to waste a lot of time and say little. The records in HI are in effect sealed due to their privacy laws. BHO could resolve this matter by telling them to open up the records, but hasn't. So, we don't know what they contain.

Regarding the cert shown on his sites (one of which has disappeared off the web), the issuing agency has never verified that it matches whatever they have on file.

And, this isn't a matter of reporters making minor mistakes, it's a matter of them just making things up; see the link in my first comment for examples. If anyone think it's acceptable that the MSM should keep inventing newtruth, move to North Korea.

THIRD COMMENT (left on [2]):
The last time I left comments here DeLong deleted them (find them in this list: 24ahead.com/s/deleted-comments), and this will probably suffer the same fate.

In the meantime, it's worth asking how dumb DeLong is or how dumb he thinks you are. Neither announcement listed a birth place or hospital, and no one has ever provided proof that such announcements could have only come from the birth hospital. The announcements don't even have BHO's name. And, if they were planted, there are logical explanations involving the grandparents worrying about a custody battle, or the grandparents wanting a keepsake, or so on.

In the grown-up real world, a real attempt to use the announcements as proof would involve questioning those who were at both the newspapers, the hospitals, and the state office at that time, looking at historical records with their procedures (e.g., office memos, etc.) and so on.

Write DeLong and let him know you aren't as stupid as he thinks you are. And, for the facts about this matter, see:

You really shouldn't waste your time on people like DeLong.
