@WilliamDale_MD @charlesornstein What about writing a prescription? Doesn't the MD write the script that the patient can use in both cases?

@judith_graham @charlesornstein My understanding is "assisted-suicide" is the MD delivering a known fatal dose of med, not just script.

@24AheadDotCom_ Many prescriptions are written containing potentially fatal doses of (pain) meds -- absolutely appropriately.

.@WilliamDale_MD: I don't know if we're talking about the same thing. Meds for pain are OK, just not as a way to help patients off selfs.
