As can be seen on the tea parties page, I have a very, very low opinion of their movement. However, there is one good thing about them: they're dumb enough to help me show how they're vile idiots. And, they've done that many, many times.

And, I'll be compiling them into a series.

For the first part of the series, in March 2011, Mary Katharine Ham of the Daily Caller posted "The New Tone is Finally Here" (link). I left a reply pointing out a fact: after leaving thousands of comments all round the web since 2002, on average the dumbest, most vile replies came from teapartiers. Teapartiers responded by proving my point: lying about me, smearing, and failing to do any sort of research. And they did all that despite the fact that I told them that I roll the responses I receive from teapartiers into my coverage of them. (Bear in mind that one or more of the responses might be from sockpuppets such as DailyCaller staffers, although that's just a feeling I get).
