Questions for Diana Scholl (ACLU)
She's the author of the momentous "Why Beliebers Should Care About Immigration Reform" ( peekURL.com/zc95HtM ) which includes "Being able to afford counsel is essential in the immigration system. Unlike in criminal court , where the right to counsel is guaranteed to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay, that is not true in immigration court, and 84 percent of people in immigration detention do not have any lawyer. And unlike Bieber, most come from countries where English is not the native language, making navigating the system without an attorney even more treacherous."

.@dianascholl: interesting post about Bieber. Can I ask you a question about it?

.@dianascholl: actually, #immigration "reform" is a huge amnesty for crooked businesses that have knowingly hired illegal aliens.

.@dianascholl: #immigration "reform" would legalize the employers of those crooked businesses w/o holding them accountable for past crimes.

.@dianascholl: will #ACLU call for, eg, investigation of a company that has more than some % of workers legalized by #immigration "reform"?

.@dianascholl: so, are you now willing to admit you're wrong & #immigration reform is at least an amnesty for crooked employers?

.@dianascholl: pretend @JustinBieber was instead a brewmaster. Would him getting deported to #Canada really be so bad for him and us?
