Fabian Nunez runs from reporter (questionable luxury expenditures)
Posted Tue, Oct 9, 2007 at 7:38 am
Last week, the LAT reported on lavish expenditures by California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez (also a Hillary Clinton campaign co-chair). Now, oddly enough, Miriam Hernandez of KABC-TV tried to ask him about those luxury purchases. However, Nunez apparently didn't want to talk and she ended up following him down a hallway and being held back by security: link.

What a difference 12 years of invasion makes. In 1995 Latinos were crowing about their impending conquest of CA. Today with CA locked in their sights are set on the whole US. They used to aspire only to an Aztlan that covered the southwest. Now they can rightly deny Aztlan is what they're after. They want the whole enchilada.

"They want the whole enchilada." Ah, yes, Tanstaafl, but they want US to pay for it!

Fabian Nunez's mere existence is an excellent argument against illegal immigration.

D Flinchum, that's like complaining about a rapist because he made you swallow. Are you trying to say you'd be ok with the invasion if the invaders financed themselves?

"Are you trying to say you'd be ok with the invasion if the invaders financed themselves?" Of course not, Tanstaaf. My point is that they may want "Aztlan" but they'll still want us/US to pay for all of the things that we pay for now. Without this, "Aztlan" is no better off than Mexico is now.
