I like the Washington Times, but...

As for that Reverend Moon fella, well:
Challenging U.S. leaders to build a 51-mile "peace" bridge and tunnel from Alaska to Russia, the Rev. Sun Myung Moon rallied hundreds of Seattle supporters last night in an effort to bolster a religious movement best known for mass weddings.

Moon delivered a rambling, 45-minute sermon at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center that heavily criticized the United Nations and called for the end of war and the reconciliation of religious differences.

Moon offered no specifics on how a combination bridge and tunnel could be built or funded...

To put it simply, the comparison of the WT to the CSM is absurd.

The Washington Times is owned by non-citizen whose sole goal in life is manipulate our country right and theocratic, dragging the planet along. It was funded, like so much of the conservative movement by Moon's money. Billions of which the UC has been found guilty of swindling from the Japanese. When conservatives fret about Soros' 25 million, do you see why liberals call you uninformed or hypocrites? Without Moon's billions, conservatism as we know it today, would not be controlling our government.

Has the CSM ever made a profit? The Washington Times is a multi-billion dollar losing propaganda outlet used by Moon to manipulate our nation. He rightfully brags about it.

Fact is, Moon has more to do with our nation's political climate than anyone. He easily outspent Scaife.

Watching you, like so many conservatives before you, rationalize Moon's manipulation of our nation shows how much he has changed our country and how sadly uniformed the nation is.

Here's an outline of just a few of things he has done:

Thanks to the mainstreaming of his organization by conservatives beginning bigtime in the 80s, Moon has huge face around the world. He isn't just messing with us. He is literally before the UN proposing they add a theocratic body. Thanks to people like Bush Sr. selling the name and prestige of the office of the presidency to him over the years, giving him respectability, Moon has made inroads in the black community here now. Many black ministers call him the deliverer.

No, Moon and his organization aren't remotely like the CSM. Moon said his job as Messiah was to raise up the Christian right for political power in America and he did it. Spent billion doing it.

Yes, a rather spooky blog that has some of that. Well documented information.

Dear Debbie,
I realize you're not too smart so I'll explain this carefully to you. A lot of leftists discount the credibility of the Washington Times because the owner is the self-proclaimed messiah of a strange religious group. I'm not a great fan of the Washington Times but I am simply applying the same standard to the Christian Science Monitor. If you're a Christian Scientist just make sure your children(if you have any) receive medical care when necessary. Assuming you're an adult I don't care what you do with respect to your own health.

Dear perro, What the hell does that have to do with this story?

Let us not forget the major left-wing newspaper(the CS Monitor)that is a run by an oddball religious cult that has an established track record of child sacrifice.
