More English thought crimes

The columnist Taki (co-editor with Pat Buchanan of The American Conservative) is being investigated by Scotland Yard for an article he wrote in a British newspaper.

According to this:

The Yard's Diversity Directorate will assess whether the piece incites racial hatred and thereby breaks the Public Order Act, for which the maximum sentence is two years.

This latest example of England's descent into a happy-thoughts-only zone is slightly more extreme than this example. Here's another example of England's problems.

Now, certainly, celebrating the very Devil Incarnate Enoch Powell, and calling things as he sees them - even if they're probably true - is a bit over the top. However, it doesn't rise to the level of a hate crime. Just a thought crime.
