When I leave comments on other sites only very rarely does anyone who responds try to construct a valid, logical counter-argument. Instead, my comments are almost always met with anonymous ad hominem attacks, with many consisting simply of a variant on "STFU Lonewacko" (a reference to my former domain name). I may - and I stress the word "may" - have been able to put a name to one of those anonymous cowards.

Two of my comments on this were met with comments from someone using the name "de stijl" who simply said "STFULW", the more concise version of the above. Comments at that site are from Disqus, which allows anonymous commenters to claim their comments on the pictured screen. The text at the top was originally a button saying "claim your comments"; after pressing that button it changed to what's pictured.

According to this page, the email address "sforsell@aol.com" belongs to a Scott Forsell. Since there are no doubt several of those in the U.S. and since someone could be using his email address without his permission, I don't know if it's a specific Scott Forsell who left those nastygrams. But, maybe he'll leave a comment and take responsibility for his statements.
