"We Are The Left" is very pro-corporate on immigration

A group of lesser-known [1] SJWs ("Social Justice Warriors") have written a screen entitled "An Open Letter on Identity Politics, to and from the Left" [2]. It's wrong and hilarious in various ways, and they also stake out an immigration stance that's very pro-corporate:

Much of this nation’s working class is comprised of people of color; the victims of America’s prison-industrial complex are, disproportionately, people of color, or mentally ill, or both; immigration status is not only connected to class and race, but also one of the major issues the Right is currently exploiting to push a campaign built on white, male hatred. We stand in solidarity with these groups, not out of any abstract ideal, but because we, ourselves, are in the same danger; we belong to the classes being oppressed, have experienced the violence of discrimination, and have an innate and self-motivated interest in ending the varieties of capitalist oppression described.

One of the major forces behind massive and illegal immigration is the business community, and they don't support that in order to raise wages. Loose immigration is one of the cornerstones of the "capitalist oppression" that finds its ultimate expression in libertarianism.

Instead of siding with the hundreds of millions of Americans who are harmed by massive immigration, "We Are The Left" is siding with US Chamber of Commerce, WalMart, McDonalds, Western Growers, Tyson Foods, and all the other large, powerful groups that are on the loose immigration side. Not to mention the Koch family, which funds loose borders advocacy groups. See immigration banks, H1B, DREAM Act, and skilled immigration for much more. If loose immigration raised wages, would all those corporations support it? Of course not.

[1] I've only heard of a few of those involved: Anil Dash, Melissa McEwan of Shakesville, and Lizz Winstead. The backstory of the letter isn't known, but it might be a volley in the war against "Bernie Bros": white male supporters of Bernie Sanders.
