.@TaylorTwellman: that was blacked out on *ESPN Plus* (the pay service). Meanwhile, the majority of Americans have probably never heard of MLS or LAFC, & the vast majority have no clue their season has started. Send MLS execs back in time as NFL execs.

It was in the ESPN Plus listing, when I tried to watch it I got a blacked out message. I had no idea it was "closed door". Which is part of my point: soccer in USA fails as a hardcore-fan-only sport. @TaylorTwellman MT @sackofgoobones [LAFC vs NYCFC] was a closed door game.
