Fox: Harry Reid to revive Senate immigration amnesty next week

From this:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid will approve a new deal on immigration on Thursday and move to bring the once-dead legislation back to the Senate floor next week, Democratic sources told FOX News.

Details of the immigration compromise remain to be finalized, but top Democratic sources say Reid has closely monitored the behind-the-scenes dickering over policy changes and a finite list of amendments due for consideration. Based on the latest updates on the policy and amendments, Reid will approve the compromise and move late Thursday to put the bill back on the calendar for Senate consideration in the middle of next week.

"He's going to bless it and he's going to get the Senate back in the business of dealing with immigration," said a source in the Democratic Senate leadership...

Mexico City Reid is our enemy he hates our Laws he hates the ideals Of The USA and this little Rat Hate's this culture of ideals and he is nothing but evil. by the way you do know he has a Hell of "alot" of Money in Mexico.

In the end it really is all about the Benjamin's. The Shit storm of money that flies in to the Beltway every time "CIR" comes up for debate. I bet you can not even get a table for the next month at any of the top restaurants the K-Street lobbyists and politician and staffers hang out at. I think Harry Reid is caught between a rock and a hard place. An article lonewacko published today linked to Right-wing news which said basically the same thing. So it is not just my opinion. Neither Reid or Pelosi are anywhere close to being the powers the you on the right, the Democratic base or MSM imagine them to be. The real power is in the hands of Clintonistas like Rahm Emmanuel and Chuck Schumer. The Clintonistas and DLC want to form their own permanent beltway apparatus much like Bushco and the Neo-Conservative cabal. Do you honestly think Hastert and Frist ran the House and Senate free from having Rove's hand up their ass and moving their lips?? Who controls the money controls the parties. And it is the same way with the Democrats. Emmanuel, Schumer and the DLCers have the inside connections to the big money corporate donors so they really run the party. Not Pelosi, Reid or even Dean. Reid knows "CIR" is a stink bomb. The longer public smells it, the more enraged they become. Pelosi is scared to death at the thought of having to present and officially support "CIR". Never mind insisting her fellow Democrats vote in favor of it. Because she dam well knows it could cost Democrats the House in 2008. Emmanuel and Schumer are the most cynical SOBs imaginable. But "CIR" is the biggest F**KING ATM they have going right now and they are going to milk it for all its worth. They know the majority of the party's base hates this "CIR" bill. The only ones supporting it outside of the Corporatist elite, permanent beltway party consultant "Potato F**Kers", the professional immigration lobbies and the Hispanic leadership rackets are ill informed or willfully loony multiculturalist lefties and 66% of the over hyped Latino vote. They pretend they believe they can clean up on the Catholic vote by backing "CIR". When they know come October 2008 Pope Ratso will stab the Democrats in the back over abortion. But hell "CIR" is an absolute fund raising God send for DLCers like Hillary and Obama. The Corporate Cheap Labor Lobby and Silicon Valley are simply pissing a golden shower of money on Hillary, Obama and the DLCers. With the DLC insuring California and Florida coming early in the primary season the Latino vote will have a disproportionate significance. Hillary might capture the nomination simply based on campaign cash and name recognition momentum alone. Even though she spells certain death in the general election.

Reid and McConnell will bring the bill back as early as next week. Should make July 4th extra special this year.

What those Bozos in Congress had better get and get soon is that GWB is washed up: He'll never stand for election again, which is a good thing for him because he couldn't get elected dogcatcher in most places now. HOWEVER, all of the HoR and 1/3 of the Senate stands for election in a few short months. If this bill becomes law, the citizens of the US will see almost instantly millions of illegal aliens come forward for their amnesty. It will be well over the 12 million (A number which, for the record, has been being mentioned for 2-3 years now. Does anybody believe that the net illegaal inflow has been zero since 2004?) and even if they plan to enforce the law this time - and we know they don't, it will be a while before that will be in place. Sooooo, we see all the amnesty, the millions over 12 million that we were told existed plus all the goodies that the newly amnestied illegal aliens are now able to collect, the increased costs AND no enforcement. Won't it be fun to campaign in 2008 on having voted for that? Now GWB may be willing to campaign for them but is that really gonna help? And while we are adding up the costs, many state and local governments will see the laws they passed to control illegal aliens suddenly become moot points until the newly legalized folks start getting replaced by a fresh crop of illegals. The problems these folks have caused won't go away. There'll still be 25 men in a single-family house, etc. It's just that now, they are here legally.

D Flinchum, Seriously, I would hate to see "CIR" pass the Senate and end up in the House. Luis Gutierrez and the rest of the Hispanic Caucus will engage in endless race baiting of their fellow Democrats. Zoe Lofgren, Ellen Tauscher, Jane Harmon and the rest of the Silicon Valley shills will be screaming for more H1-B visas allowing the world to see the Democrats as a bunch of craven Corporatist sellouts of the middle class. Pelosi will come off looking weak and under the thumb of the DLC lead by the nose by Rahm Emmanuel. I do not want to think the "evil genius" Karl Rove planned it this way. But I could see the Republicans taking back the House if the "CIR" vote is even close.

llamajockey, I think you are correct. What the politicians don't seem to get is that average people - not racists, not xenophobes, not right/left moonbats, but average normal people - are furious about this bill. And the more people know about the bill, the less they like it!!! If the damn thing passes, folks will learn a lot and fast.

"Neither Reid or Pelosi are anywhere close to being the powers the you on the right, the Democratic base or MSM imagine them to be. The real power is in the hands of Clintonistas like Rahm Emmanuel and Chuck Schumer. The Clintonistas and DLC want to form their own permanent beltway apparatus much like Bushco and the Neo-Conservative cabal." Llamajockey, you can choose to believe this ... or you can do what the patriots are doing, and burn up the phone lines to tell the senators, R and D alike, that this immigration bill is a sellout, that Z-visa legalization is a travesty. If this passed, majority leader Reid is the handmaiden, no doubt.

"I do not want to think the "evil genius" Karl Rove planned it this way. But I could see the Republicans taking back the House if the "CIR" vote is even close." Inan ugly scorched-earth kind of way, a bill that is signed and enacted will cause a huge backlash and anyone who voted for it will feel the heat. like 1994+2006 combined. but if Bush signs it, it will be both parties who take it on the chin, ie, the "INCUMBENT" party will have a tough time. Yes, I could definitely see the GOP take back the House while wimping GOP Senators lose, leading to a split House. And maybe Hillary takes the White House but is instantly unpopular. In a way it doesnt matter... once the bill is signed, immigration policy is doomed for 20 years. You cant unscramble the amnesty omelette.

Correction: Yes, I could definitely see the GOP take back the House while wimping GOP Senators lose, leading to a split CONGRESS (GOP House, Dem Senate).
