Barack Obama: please choose Tim Kaine as your vice presidential candidate

If I have any pull with the Barack Obama campaign - and I know I do - I urge them to select Virginia governor Tim Kaine as their vice presidential candidate. And, I do so because Kaine is a veritable genius. But, it's not just that. He's also known for making intelligent nominations to state panels. And, he can be counted on to keep the votes flowing in.
