sone of the people inside government are starting to get what can happen, but why didn't boxer and McCain and old mexico Kennedy didn't vote for this evil bill, the reason why is some-other bill will hand over this nation to the drug dealers, see people its all a game.

Any guesses how long until they try again? I figure about two weeks. But in the meantime, lest we forget just how moronic they are, they will follow this failure with...SChip! Back on the agenda tomorrow. I have heard that evil never sleeps, but what about stoopid? Can't congress at least take a nap or something? This relentless push for amnesty is getting tiresome. Does this mean their handlers are getting irritated with us? Good!

Edward, Take all this in as a sign of growing desperation. A massive tidal shift is taking place in support of the Immigration Restrictionist side of the debate. The Open Border lobby knows that the 2008 election will most likely be the end of the careers of at least 6-8 pro-Amnesty/Open Borders senators, dozens of House representatives, several governors and hundreds of state level politicians. After Nov. 2008 Amnesty, even if somehow Hillary gets elected, will be politically impossible. The radical Latino Ethnocentric groups(La Raza, LULAC, MALDEF...), ACLU, the immigration lawyers and SPLC are now in a bind as well. They still want the gravy train of Corporate funding and donations they depend on. Likewise they count on the Catholic Church and other Religious denominations to lend them moral legitimacy for their enabling of illegal behavior. In return they do much of the race baiting and grass roots political organizing on behalf of the Corporatist Cheap Labor interests. But now for the first time in over 40 years their meal ticket is seriously threatened. Here is how I see it. The "mainstream radical" Latino ethnocentric organizations have failed politically to deliver on their promises. Yet they are deeply afraid to admit it. Now the more extreme Latino Open Borders groups like MEChA, and numerous far left wing ANSWER affiliated organizations will feel emboldened to take the lead from the likes of more "conventional" La Raza and LULAC. I am predicting that the Summer of 2008 will be marked by increasingly intense and disruptive demonstrations. The Open Borders pandering politicians will be between a rock and a hard place. If they do not support the increasingly radical Open Borders groups they risk sparking a riot, if they do they are certain to loose the support of the vast majority of the electorate. I hate to say this because I am a Democrat but I see the potential for the kind of political chaos we have not seen since 1968. Denver 2008 will be a mirror of Chicago 1968. If widespread riots occur, the case for building the border fence and for tough interior enforcement will not be hard for politicians to make. It will be of absolute necessity in order to be elected. That is outside of a handful of place like maybe San Francisco. Last the Catholic Church and most of Corporate American will have to think twice before pushing for Open Borders less they as well suffer the consequences from their membership and customers.

I hope to hell you are right llamajockey if not the fighting will start for real and i don't mean words.

Likewise. How many times do these traitors think they can keep poking us in the eye?
