How stupid are the blogs? This stupid. There aren't even 3500 hits for his name without quotes (and just 1600 hits for his name with quotes). In other words, he's more or less a sitting duck for anyone who wanted to send a message to those who'd be looking for, say, examples of his work. While some of those with top positions are strong to very strong sites with a little work it wouldn't be difficult to knock some of them off, especially if people actually set out to do so.

Instead, only one of the ten on the first page (without quotes) offer a negative response to the article he recently wrote. With quotes, there are three. One of those promotes and another discusses violence against him, not exactly a swift move designed to sway others. Of the latter three, only RightWingNews doesn't involve violence, and a quick scan of some of those discussing this latest outrage du jour (link) show that that's one of the few sites that aren't linking to the article and giving that publication something of value rather than trying to take it away. One of them links including the phrase "women of the Right", which might help that publication even more.
