Conservatives lack competence to stop the "Knockout Game" - 11/21/13

In the "Knockout Game", a victim is knocked unconscious in a surprise attack. Most or all of the perpetrators are blacks and usually working in a group; most or all of the victims have been non-blacks. Victims have included the political class such as Matt Yglesias and Rep Grace Meng.

This post will maintain a list of those supposed conservative thought leaders (major pundits, media figures, organization heads, etc.) who support the form of comprehensive immigration reform (aka amnesty) proposed by Marco Rubio.

Political commentator Juan Williams was fired by NPR yesterday for making what should be non-controversial remarks about Muslims and terrorism on the Bill OReilly show; a transcript is at [1].

Disingenuous Lou Dobbs now wants amnesty, guest workers, chain migration ("comprehensive immigration reform") - 01/08/10

Appearing on last night's Bill OReilly show on Fox News, Lou Dobbs made it clear that he does support amnesty, euphemistically called comprehensive immigration reform. Not only that, but he supports guest workers and chain migration. The only question he has is how many would be legalized and how many family members those legalized would be able to bring to the U.S. Since he referenced legalizing 9 million people (3 times 3 million on the video), he wants to legalize the great majority of illegal aliens in the U.S. On those topics, he's even worse than O'Reilly. Partial transcript below,...

Sleazy Andrew Sullivan tries to implicate Bill O'Reilly in George Tiller shooting - 05/31/09

Abortion doctor George Tiller was killed earlier today in Wichita, Kansas. In response, Andrew Sullivan offers "O'Reilly's Target Shot Dead In Church" [1] in which he tries to lay the blame for the as-yet-unknown killer's actions on Bill OReilly. Showing his intense interest in the truth, he links to and quotes Wikipedia [2] On Friday, November 3, 2006, Bill O'Reilly featured an exclusive segment on his show, The O'Reilly Factor, saying that he has an "inside source" with official clinic documentation indicating that George Tiller performs late-term abortions to alleviate "temporary...

Media Matters for America on immigration "myths" ("Fear and Loathing in Prime Time") - 05/21/08

Media Matters for America offers a "report" called "Fear and Loathing in Prime Time/Immigration Myths and Cable News" (mediamattersaction.org/reports/fearandloathing/online_version). It attempts to address some of the "myths" supposedly promulgated by Lou Dobbs, [[Bill O'Reilly]], and Glenn Beck.

The "anti-immigration movement" charted! (Bill O'Reilly, Lou Dobbs, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, VDare...) - 05/09/07

Solana Larsen (whose name rings a bell for some unknown reason) is the president of "PuertoDansk" and a contributor to opendemocracy.net and other sites. At the site of the North American Congress on Latin America, she offers "The Anti-Immigration Movement: From Shovels to Suits" [1]. If you read the recent Max Blumenthal interview, you already know what she's going to say and how wrong she is. In fact, she and Son of Sid recently appeared on a panel together [2].

Soros-funded Media Matters now deleting comments? - 05/25/05

Media Matters - which admits it receives money from George Soros - appears to have deleted several comments from this thread about Bill O'Reilly discussing Harvard's plan to spend $50 million to promote "faculty diversity." O'Reilly said: "Any woman who signs on to work at Harvard gets 100 pair of shoes ... because all women want shoes."

Bill O'Reilly asks some semi-tough questions - 09/28/04

Bill O'Reilly interviewed President Bush, and the first part of the interview was broadcast on Monday. I didn't see it, but a transcript is here. I couldn't find an official transcript, but since that agrees with the quote printed in Bush: Militarizing Border Won't Stop Illegal Deluge (link). I'm going to assume it's largely accurate.

I will accept her apology on Bush's behalf - 04/09/03

From this (foxnews.com/story/0,2933,83365,00.html): O'REILLY: If you are wrong... and if the United States - and they will, this is going to happen - goes in, liberates Iraq [with] people in the street, American flags, hugging our soldiers... you gonna apologize to George W. Bush?
