Nicole Allan /The Atlantic misleads about immigration, Tancredo

Here are two comments I left on recent blog posts by Nicole Allan of The Atlantic discussing her misleading about immigration matters. Please send a tweet @MarcAmbinder with your thoughts:

1. Left here:

That's odd. "Journalist" Nicole Allan completely forgot to tell you that the DREAM Act lets illegal aliens take college educations away from poor U.S. citizens.

Nicole Allan: why did you completely "forget" to do that?

2. Left here (so far unapproved, but that might be a disqus technical issue):

The last time we met Nicole Allan, she was misleading about the anti-American DREAM Act.

Now, she's back with another misleading post. "Nativist zeal"? "One issue"? In fact, one of the issues with Tancredo is that he doesn't just focus on one issue. He's a strong conservative, and if he weren't such a strong conservative on social and fiscal issues he could get a lot more support.

And, obviously, his immigration position isn't "radical": most Americans don't support massive illegal activity. And, a very strong majority (74% per CBS) support AZ's law, the law that establishes what Tancredo wants (attrition) as state policy. Those who support massive illegal activity in order to obtain money or power are the actual radicals.

Is Nicole Allan trying to be the Andrea Nill of the Atlantic or something? Compare what she says to the facts and send a tweet @MarcAmbinder with your thoughts.
