Our beloved president-elect Barack Obama is offering his new weekly speech not just as a radio address but also as an online video: youtube.com/watch?v=Zd8f9Zqap6U (also available at AOL, MSN, and Yahoo).
On Youtube at least, almost every form of interaction is disabled: no ratings, comments, or video replies are allowed. The only sign of the outside world are the "sites linking to this video", which includes change.gov, the HuffPost, the NYT, Politico, and USA Today. In order to get on that list, you'd have to send several hundred clicks to the video.
However, if you'd like to leave your thoughts on his video, someone has uploaded a copy here with comments enabled in order "to allow open discussion among the YouTube community." That's the video to the right.
Oddly enough, there don't appear to be any non-joke answer videos, not even from rightwing news sources or organizations. Of course, that might be because, as the script shows, he continues not really saying anything:
