The nutroots/netroots and some of those with links to the Mexican government were backing Mark Pera in a primary House race against fellow Democrat and incumbent Rep. Dan Lipinski. The latter appears to have soundly come out ahead, 53% to 26% with over 3/4 of precincts counted.
