Actually , many people in the immigration system trying to do it the legal way, have problems everyday with the way the current system and laws are set up. Miscommunications result in people UNKNOWINGLY being moved into the illegal category. These same people have kept their address updated with Immigration. The term "illegal" is widely used and very misrepresentative of the actuality of the situation.
