Bush immigration "reform" to be unveiled Tuesday October 18, 2005?

According to this, Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff will appear on that date at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on immigration, and they might unveil president Bush's plan to drive his popularity under 30%, otherwise known as his immigration "reform" plan.

The administration can present these disloyalistic proposals of amnesty, again and again; but the Bush family will still be absolutely blackballed at the top tranzi meetings in Europe. They can pretend that they have media PR genius, showing favor to foreign criminals on such a large scale; but the NYT has decidedly declared that Bush is a racist, in its lead editorial of 9-25-05. If you betray your friend to win some scrap of social acceptance from enemies, you lose your friends, and get further mistreated by the enemies.

Non-"liberal" coverage of immigration, politics, media bias, multiculturalism, Los Angeles, California, privacy, and occasionally celebrities and wacky humor...
