I guess possible voting fraud or major errors with eVoting don't matter if your guy wins.

Glenn "Instapundit" Reynolds is now leading the charge to discredit Olbermann's broadcast about possible voting fraud. Lesser lights weigh in.

By discrediting one Olbermann broadcast, all possible instances of fraud or error will be discredited and dismissed as "whining", if they even existed in the first place. Of course, if the obvious problems with the 2004 votes could be blamed on the French or the Germans (somehow), expect the tide to be reversed.

Why would Bush supporters want to sweep all of the great many suspicious cases discussed on this blog and in this category under the rug? Don't they care about making sure that the vote results reflect the actual will of the voters? Aren't they supporters of democracy?

Regarding Cuyahoga County in Ohio, this page which I linked to before now says:

Ok - finally had a chance to figure this out. I apologize for any anxiety that went along with these numbers. It seems that data is useless without knowing how counties arrived at the numbers and this was a particularly tricky process.

There are redundant numbers when looking at what seem to be "extra" votes in various precincts. These redundant numbers represent the absentee ballots. Absentee ballots are added into several districts for unoffical counts, but do not go toward the county total more than once. It is quite tricky and confusing, but it makes sense now after talking with the county (they were quite nice).

Whether that completely explains what was mentioned here is still unknown:

We really need someone who has some some credibility remaining as well as specific knowledge of voting to weigh in.
