Soledad O'Brien of CNN, Huffington Post fall for obvious hoax (banker 1% restaurant tip, OWS, Political Carnival) - 02/28/12

If you dislike CNN and their completely inaccurate self description of being a real news site as much as I do, the video below (cached) might just be absolutely hilarious. It features Soledad OBrien and three guests discussing a picture of a supposed restaurant receipt which shows a 1% tip and which includes a supposed note from the patron saying, "Get a real job".

David Axelrod, Stephanie Cutter of Obama campaign lie about Kris Kobach ("plague", immigration, Mitt Romney) - 01/11/12

Stephanie Cutter is the Deputy Campaign Manager for Obama 2012 and earlier today she lied about Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach. Others joined in, including Former Obama Senior Advisor David Axelrod. Cutter tweeted the following:

GottaLaff isn't a credible source (Political Carnival) - 05/28/11

A few days ago, I posted an example of teapartiers helping me show how they're vile dolts. For balance, consider the image below with a Twitter chat I had with "GottaLaff" of the leftwing blog Political Carnival.

Reason #73218 why you can't trust Steve Benen, Alex Pareene, John Aravosis, HuffPost, and GottaLaff (McCain on illegal aliens "intentionally causing accidents") - 04/21/10

Yesterday in an appearance on the Bill O'Reilly show, John McCain said among other, more important things, that he supports Arizona's tough new immigration bill (not yet a law) because "the people whose homes and property are being violated. It's the drive-by that -- the drivers of cars with illegals in it that are intentionally causing accidents on the freeway." You can watch it here: peekURL.com/vztpe5h

Arpaio shouted down at First Amendment Forum; Amanda Terkel cheers; open borders song - 12/01/09

Last night, Arizona State University held a "First Amendment Forum" with sheriff Joe Arpaio being questioned about his relationship to the media and immigration by a professor and two others from that school. The event was interrupted by far-left protesters who began singing parody lyrics of Bohemian Rhapsody, causing the panelists including Arpaio to leave one-by-one. The Dean of the school says (link): "They didn’t shout down Sheriff Arpaio... They shouted down three top-flight journalists who were trying to question him. My personal opinion? I think that’s dumb." The lyrics of their parody...

John Aravosis of AmericaBlog confuses the GOP with Amazon.com, hilarity ensues (Chris Frates) - 07/16/09

The GOP has a new web application called the "Obama Card" at gop.com/obamacard. You search for terms and it shows you how much they'll cost you on your "Card". It didn't work for me the two times I tried it, but it appears to be yet another cheap stunt from the GOP; their time would be better spent on, for instance, showing how their opponents are wrong. Speaking of that, John Aravosis of AmericaBlog offers "RNC Web site promoting anti-Semitic, anti-Latino, and pornographic literature" (link) in which he details several searches he did for items at their "store", some of which brought up...
