Charles Freeman on board of Chinese government oil company - 2/27/2009

... "Chas Freeman") to head the National Intelligence Council ("NIC"). Since 2004, Freeman has served on the board of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation ("CNOOC"). That company is 75% owned by the Chinese government, and in 2005 they tried to buy Unocal with an $18.5 billion all-cash offer. Details here.
