Jared Polis in illogical tirade on House floor (immigration, amnesty, Colorado) - 12/05/13

In 2006, Jared Polis got an award from the Mexican government, the award they give to purported Americans that push their agenda inside the U.S. Now that he's in the U.S. House of Representatives, he's still earning his award. The latest example is the video below where he goes into an illogical, emotional, and perhaps fake rant in which he falsely claims our immigration laws are to blame for separating families. Partial transcript from this.

Latino-Jewish Congressional Caucus forms (AJC, Polis, Wasserman Schultz, Becerra, Baca...) - 06/22/11

The American Jewish Committee and a group of Latino and Jewish Representatives have started the "Latino-Jewish Congressional Caucus" with two basic goals. The first is ensuring Latinos support Israel. The second, per [1] is related to "Latinos, on the other hand, are hoping that well-established Jewish groups will push even harder for immigration reform".

Luis Gutierrez' CIR ASAP amnesty has 100+ co-sponsors (Honda, Polis, Weiner, Serrano) - 06/24/10

U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez conducted yet another pro-comprehensive immigration reform event today, this in support of his CIRASAP ("Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity Act") amnesty. It's reached the milestone of over 100 co-sponsors, and per this those speaking in support included Reps. Barbara Lee, Anthony Weiner, and Jared Polis; Campus Progress (part of the Center for American Progress); and the quite far-left Casa de Maryland. And: (Rep. Mike Honda), standing next to a young girl, asked the room if it was right to deny her the American Dream because,...

Rep. Jared Polis: Arizona immigration law like Nazi Germany (still earning his award from the Mexican government) - 04/26/10

In 2006, U.S. Rep. Jared Polis - Democrat of Colorado - won one of Mexico's top awards for foreigners due to his strong support for illegal immigration. To this day he continues to demonstrate that the Mexican government is great at picking those on their side. Speaking to The Politico (link), he said of the recently-signed Arizona immigration law: "It is absolutely reminiscent of second class status of Jews in Germany prior to World War II when they had to have their papers with them at all times and were subject to routine inspections at the suspicion of being Jewish... ...I fear that...

Read about CIR ASAP: "Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity Act of 2009" (Luis Gutierrez) - 12/11/09

[A DISCUSSION OF SOME OF THE PROVISIONS IS HERE, AND MORE UPDATES ARE BELOW] On Tuesday, December 15, 2009 Rep. Luis Gutierrez will introduce an amnesty bill called the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity Act of 2009". His announcement (luisgutierrez.house.gov/PRArticle.aspx?NewsID=1406) provides no details, however: 1. Details on the bill will be provided here when it becomes available; expect it to be a bit on the far-left side and expect it to not go very far, except perhaps if it's watered down. In the latter case it might present a problem. 2. The way...

Rep. Jared Polis: 287g caused "sweep of terror", smears Joe Arpaio (still earning his award from Mexico) - 10/22/09

Speaking on the House floor yesterday, Colorado Rep. Jared Polis sharply criticized the 287g program and smeared Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Rep. Jared Polis founded Spanish-language move theater chain (sold last year) - 08/18/09

Freshman Rep. Jared Polis is such a strong supporter of illegal immigration that he got an award from the Mexican government in 2006. In 2005, as a public official, he was involved in a guide for illegal aliens produced by the state of Colorado.

Dream Act re-introduced: you need to organize local efforts to block it - 03/27/09

The anti-American DREAM Act was re-introduced yesterday in the House and the Senate. The bill is an amnesty for a potentially large number of younger illegal aliens, and it would allow those covered under the bill to take college discounts from U.S. citizens. In other words, because of this bill, some U.S. citizens will have their college educations taken away from them by former illegal aliens. Considering that, it's incredibly easy to block the bill and discredit those who support it. The way to do that is to ask a politician who supports the bill the question at the link above, and then...

Jared Polis: gender Marxism for the stimulus bill - 01/30/09

Jared Polis is a dot-com multi-millionaire who went into politics, first as the Vice-Chairman of the Colorado State Board of Education and now as a Congressman from Colorado. In the first job in 2005 he collaborated with the Mexican government to produce a state-sponsored guide for illegal aliens. That was so successful that the next year that government gave him their highest award for foreigners. In his present capacity, he offers "Remember the ladies", a plea to include women in the stimulus plan (link). While there's nothing in there quite as salient as the recent remarks from Robert...

Colorado Democracy Alliance/Jared Polis to "educate the idiots" - 10/01/08

The Colorado Democracy Alliance is a relatively new organization that apparently has a plan to - in their words - "educate the idiots" to encourage them to vote for the Democratic Party. That's according to an internal memo obtained by FaceTheState.com; it's not available at present due to a link from Drudge but a copy is here. This description of those involved in the CDA includes Jared Polis, a Democratic politician who received an award from the Mexican government presumably due to his in effect helping them profit from illegal immigration. It also includes an organization (ProgressNow)...

Jared Polis, Colorado Springs awarded by Mexican government (Ohtli award) - 12/02/06

Jared Polis is a dotcom multimillionaire who serves as Vice-Chairman of the Colorado State Board of Education. He's also donated large sums of cash to "liberal" causes and candidates. Last year, that Board produced Colorado's guide for illegal aliens, and Polis is also involved with ProgressNow. On November 20, Polis' hard work paid off, as he was given Mexico's "Ohtli" award by their local consul general, Juan Marcos Gutierrez. As shall become clear, receiving that award might be considered a strong indication that the recipient is a Fifth Columnist: ...The award is the highest Mexican...

WaPo gives free ad to Colorado's ProgressNow outfit - 10/10/05

The WaPo offers "Dean Camp's Tactics Applied to Colorado", a "Special to The Washington Post" article by Brian Faler: A small advocacy group in Colorado is betting that it can take one state-of-the-art Web site [ProgressNowAction.org], add half a million dollars or so and end up with a potent tool that will enable it to organize the state's entire community of liberal activists. ProgressNow, formed two years ago, is borrowing some of the online tactics that helped fuel the 2004 presidential campaign of Howard Dean, now the Democratic National Committee chairman. It has invited activists...

Tying up the loose ends on Colorado's guide for the illegal alien - 02/09/05

Colorado recently removed from its website a guide that gives tips for illegal aliens living in Colorado. Those involved in producing the guide included, to varying degrees: the Mexican government, the Colorado Department of Education, Colorado Gov. Owens, various "immigrant's rights" groups, and First Data/Western Union. Rep. Tom Tancredo complained about the guide and caused it to be removed from Colorado's site. This, of course, caused the other side to fire up their race-baiting and strike back. From a group called ProgressNow (link): Colorado Department of Education Vice-Chairman asks:...
