In June 2014, FWD US - a group Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and others started to push a high immigration agenda - released "Poll By 10 Prominent GOP Pollsters Shows Americans Overwhelmingly Support Action On Immigration" .
On skilled immigration, Donald Trump - at least at this moment in time - appears to support two somewhat separate positions, both of which are problematic:
Americans for a Conservative Direction ad "Choices" misleads about immigration (Zuckerberg, Facebook) - 06/10/14
"Americans for a Conservative Direction" is a front group for FWD US, which is a front group started by billionaire Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and other wealthy Silicon Valley employers. Their latest ad is called "Choices" and it's as deceptive as you might expect.
Mark Zuckerberg's questionable ads for GOP immigration reform plan (FWD US, ACD, Facebook) - 01/31/14
Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook is behind a $750,000 ad buy in support of the GOP "Standards for Immigration Reform".
The leftwing Center for American Progress has released a list of their corporate funders for 2013 . Several of the funders have a financial interest in higher immigration and in comprehensive immigration reform.
The video below shows Mark Zuckerberg - CEO of Facebook and founder of the advocacy group FWD . us - promoting comprehensive immigration reform.
Mark Zuckerberg pro amnesty ad features Marco Rubio (Americans for a Conservative Direction, Bush, Barbour, Facebook) - 04/24/13
Marco Rubio appears in the pro-amnesty ad below. The ad is from "Americans for a Conservative Direction", which is a conservative front group for Facebook head Mark Zuckerberg's "FWD.us" effort to push amnesty and increased immigration.
Earlier this month, Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin renounced his U.S. citizenship in a move that most have considered a way to save taxes (even if he denies it). Fiscal conservatives proceeded to show that - to them - patriotism has a price tag. See the link for several examples and an explanation of why we don't want people like Saverin in the U.S. to begin with.
Fiscal conservatives side with America-denouncing billionaire (Cato, Dan Mitchell, Heritage, Brownfield, Sean Medlock, Daily Caller, HotAir) - 05/11/12
Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin recently denounced his U.S. citizenship to avoid paying U.S. taxes he'd owe when that company goes public. Hopefully to most people the idea of turning your back on your country to save money would be abhorrent. Of course, many in the fiscal conservative and libertarians spheres think different: patriotism only goes so far.
Republican Presidential Debate January 8, 2012 (NBC News, Facebook, New Hampshire, Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, Ron Paul, Huntsman, David Gregory) - 01/08/12
The second worthless GOP debate of 2012 starts today, January 8 at 9am Eastern. This is apparently the first morning debate of this presidential campaign season, but don't expect it to be any different from all the others. You can watch the debate live on Facebook, but it will also be shown on NBC later in the day depending on your location (reportedly the same time slot as Meet the Press). NETWORK: NBC News
Dozens of pro-illegal immigration groups were invited to Obama's mini-amnesty rollout and you weren't - 08/25/11
On August 18, Barack Obama's Department of Homeland Security announced an administrative amnesty that could cover 300,000 or more illegal aliens.
Obama misleads on immigration at Facebook; Zuckerberg and incompetent/corrupt GOP, Teaparty leaders help - 04/21/11
Barack Obama spoke live over Facebook yesterday at an event sponsored by that company. He misled about immigration and promoted an anti-American bill. He got direct help with his attempt to mislead from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and he got indirect help from corrupt or incompetent GOP and Teaparty leaders:
Earlier today, Barack Obama met with a group of 70 "stakeholders" to discuss a new push for comprehensive immigration reform. The stakeholders in question represent only a small number of Americans; see the list below.
