More Tea Party brilliance: an answer video to a U-movie actress

Glenn Reynolds elucidates that one of the tea parties groups has a new site: teaparty.thearenausa.com/insight/home.jsp

While I enjoy :33 to :37 of the video in the upper right corner of that page (attached hereto), I have to wonder:

- Why are they falling into the LBJ/Paul Krassner trap of denying they're racists? The correct way to deal with things like that is to show how their opponents are lying about factual matters in order to cast doubt on their opinions; instead, they're simply repeating the smear.

- Why isn't any context provided in the video or on the page indicating why they're denying being racists?

- Why did they waste their time making an answer video in response to something that U-movie actress Janeane Garofalo said?
