Honk three times if you're on the road to Idiocracy: bombastic Bob Basso gives final tea party talk

Bob Basso - the motivational speaker and actor who's also a Youtube sensation [1] due to dressing up as Tom Paine and pulling a "mad as hell" act - is back with a new video which was shown as part of the Glenn Beck program. You can see it at HotAir here.

It's even worse than you'd expect, and it pushes the tea parties even further down the road to Idiocracy. Previous sign posts on that road have included mailing tea bags to politicians. The current sign post Basso is aiming for is for people to honk their horns three times at noon on April 15.

No, I'm not kidding. For all his bombastic dire warnings about things that (presumably) Obama is going to do, Basso is completely unable to come up with - or is unwilling to promote - something that would be effective: holding politicians accountable on video. To a good extent, this is a very serious problem: people like Beck and Basso are increasing peoples' fear and anger levels and only giving them a completely ineffective outlet.
