Hillary Clinton winter celebrations message is culturally insensitive; Chelsea wants money

Dear Hillary Clinton:

I thank you for your recent message wishing me a "happy holiday", however, I am deeply offended at your complete insensitivity, cultural and other.

While at first glance your message (pictured somewhere here) may appear to be as open and welcoming to all as possible, there are two major problems which have, frankly, spoiled this entire season for me.

Firstly, the very use of the word "holiday" implies its derivation from the Old English "holy day", a phrase fraught with Xian symbolism. Further, even if we assume that many are not aware of that derivation (due to the excellence of our schools), the use of that phrase implies that this is the time of year for the celebration of "holy" days, a clear slap in the face to all rational peoples.

Secondly, your use of snow bedecked trees is, to be frank, sheer Northern and Northwestern European Imperialism. While they may have snow in your native Wales, there are many areas of the U.S. where such scenes are unheard of, especially in the urban areas and among the Oppressed.

However, I did enjoy the other message I received from a squatting Chelsea Clinton. While she was asking for money for the Clinton Global Initiative, and she is pictured with a starving child, I did enjoy it nonetheless.
