Extruded news nuggets for May 5, 2009: Autotune on Aisle Galt! edition

* Happy Cinco de Cuatro.

* Back in January 2007, when a video of Paula Abdul acting strangely appeared I defended her, pointing out that in 2005 she said she's "not addicted to pills of any kind". Now, I find out (link) that she only got clean on Thanksgiving of last year. How could she do that to me?

* A Happy Meal contained an extra (link).

* A patch of ground largely unchanged for 1.8 million years has been located (link).

* Glenn Reynolds reminds us (pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/78056) of the singing lawyer's "Ballad of Timothy Geithner" which has almost a million views, despite being painful to listen to (link). She's also concerned about a trivial matter rather than the Geithner issues that are incredibly more important. Something about a trillion dollars or so. And, if instead of singing she started asking questions she might find she has more power than she thinks.

UPDATE: Even more worthless stuff has been located.
* Regular guys Barack and Joe went to a DC burger joint. While the fact that Regular Joe Obama wanted "spicy mustard or something like that, or a Dijon mustard, something like that" and the fact that Andrea Mitchell didn't mention his hoity toity tastes is interesting (legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2009/05/msnbc-hides-obamas-dijon-mustard.html), what's even more worrisome is Biden's order: he wanted Swiss cheese, jalapenos, and ketchup on his. All those are great, just not together.
